First Decree was started by Dane DeMar and Maurice in 2011. They began writing and brought on Dane DeMar's brother Zach E. Lee (formerly of Shameless to Say) to play drums and began playing shows right away. In 2012 they brought in their other brother Isaac Falco and recorded their debut EP. After playing many shows regionally and touring the Midwest, First Decree headed to the studio with JoelWanasek to record their full length album "Set in Stone" in August of 2013.

After recording their debut album First Decree went on a 50 date tour in support of that album with Smile Empty Soul and ACIDIC in the fall of 2013. First Decree has since played SXSW and signed on with 3 Thirteen Entertainment Group and they will continue to tour and build a following as they plan on being on tour for all of the Summer of 2014 and work on getting radio support.

First Decree has proudly shared the stage with: Smile Empty Soul, ACIDIC, Trapt, Sevendust, Thousand Foot Krutch, Deftones, The Casualties, Saliva, Psychostick, Hed PE, Righteous Vendetta, and many more!
